Since 1 januari 2015 the Working cost arrangement (WKR) is an obligatory arrangement that has to be offered by employers in the Netherlands. The employer can – within the WKR arrangement – use a percentage of the budget for employees for extra costs like bikes. An amount of up to € 749,- can be used.
